Lucas grew up in North Vancouver where he played a number of sports growing up, and trained at Gameready throughout high school. In 2015 he moved to Ontario to attend McMaster University where he studied Kinesiology and played football for 5 years. During this time Lucas was also a student intern for the McMaster strength and conditioning program, where he gained experience working with collegiate and professional level athletes. An academic All-Canadian and team captain, Lucas completed his playing career in 2019 and is now coaching at Gameready North Van.
